Sesiwn yn y Gymraeg - Session in Welsh with simultaneous intrepretation

Ymunwch â’r hanesydd a’r awdur Catrin Stevens ar gyfer cyflwyniad bywiog a dadlennol am rôl menywod yng ngwleidyddiaeth Cymru. Ar ôl blynyddoedd dilewyrch, yn 2003 Llywodraeth Cymru oedd y gyntaf yn y byd i sicrhau cydbwysedd rhwng y rhywiau. Dyna pam roedd hi mor bwysig i gofnodi, dadansoddi a dathlu cyfraniad menywod i ugain mlynedd gyntaf Datganoli, a rhoi cyfle i’r menywod hynny fynegi eu llwyddiannau a’u rhwystredigaethau yn eu geiriau eu hunain. Dyna a wna ‘Gwir Gofnod o Gyfnod’.

Join the historian and author Catrin Stevens for a lively and challenging presentation on the role of women in Welsh politics. After many stagnant years, in 2003 Welsh Government was the first in the world to achieve parity between the sexes. This is why it was so important to record, analyse and celebrate women’s contribution to the first twenty years of Devolution, and to give these women an opportunity to express their aspirations and their frustrations in their own words. ‘Setting the Record Straight’ does this.
