From the leader of Wales’ Green Party, based on inspiration and research from across Wales, this book points to the possible ways forward for our country in an uncertain global future.

 It points to the possibilities in current agendas in Wales, that need to be joined-up in strategies for change and developed as a matter of urgency.

‘Everywhere in the world we need to be making a ‘new deal’ with Nature. To be effective we have to achieve social and environmental objectives at the same time. We have to urgently create a new kind of politics before we get further locked into destructive patterns. The pandemic reminds us that if we do not prepare for the changes and risks in the real world then all of us will suffer. The same is true of climate change. It is vital that we consider in Wales, what we need to do to build a safer world.’ – Anthony Slaughter.

Anthony Slaughter is currently serving a second term as Wales Green Party Leader. Outside party politics Anthony has a long history of grassroots activism in the NGO, union, and community field in Wales, linking environmental and social justice work.
