Mae Alun Gibbard yn awdur llawn amser o Lanelli, sydd wedi cyhoeddi bron 30 o lyfrau ffeithiol ac 1 nofel. Mae’n cyfrannu’n wythnosol i gylchgrawn Golwg. Bu’n ddarlledwr am chwarter canrif cyn ei yrfa ysgrifennu, ac mae’n dal i gyfrannu i raglenni radio a theledu.  Roedd ei lyfr diwethaf  Carwyn: Yn erbyn y Gwynt, yn bortread o’r polymath, Carwyn James.
Sports / Welsh language event: Alun Wyn Bevan and Alun Gibbard on authoring sport biographies and sports books: A discussion between two professional sports writers.

Alun Gibbard comes from Llanelli and is a full time author who has published up to 30 factual books and 1 novel. He was a full time broadcaster for 25 years and is a regular contributer to the Welsh language  weekly magazine Golwg. His last book  was the much anticipated biography of Wales and Lions Coach, Carwyn James.

  • Prolific author and broadcaster Alun Wyn Bevan is a former first-class referee and headmaster.
  • He is originally from Brynaman, but now lives in Neath.
